OUR POWDERCOATING PROCESS

We utilize the most state of the art processes and products to prep and coat your parts

Chemical Stripping

We utilize an environmentally friendly stripping compound to remove the original coating and prepare it for a new coating.

Masking

High-temp masking tape and silicone plugs are applied to any area of the part that powder coating is not desired.

Outgassing

Outgassing is heating up the part to a temperature above the curing temperature to dry any moisture and bring any contamination to the surface.

Coating

Powder is applied electrostatically to a grounded part resulting in an evenly and completely coated part.

Media Blasting

Media blasting the parts removes any of the remaining original coating and gives the parts a proper profile for mechanical adhesion of the new powder.

Baking

Parts are baked at a temperature and time specific to the powder coat applied. Once baked, the powder is completely cured and ready for reassembly.
